Learn MoreFixed, natural-looking replacement for missing teeth using titanium implants topped with a custom crown.
A dental implant replaces a missing tooth from the root up. A titanium post is placed into the jawbone, allowed to fuse with the bone over a healing period, and then restored with a custom crown matched to your natural teeth.
Implants are the closest available replacement to a natural tooth. Unlike a bridge, they do not require grinding down the adjacent healthy teeth, and because the implant transmits chewing forces into the jawbone, they help preserve the bone volume that is otherwise lost after a tooth is missing for a long time.
Most adults with healthy gums and adequate jawbone are suitable. Where bone has already been lost, treatment is still often possible after a bone graft or sinus lift — procedures routinely performed here as part of the same treatment plan.
Treatment begins with a digital X-ray and a full assessment of bone and gum health. Placement is done under local anaesthesia as a day-care procedure. Healing typically takes a few months before the final crown is fitted, and you are given a temporary solution in the interim where needed.
Implant placement is a surgical procedure. Cases involving limited bone, sinus proximity, previous failed implants or full-arch rehabilitation benefit from a maxillofacial surgeon’s training — which is what this clinic is built around.

A digital X-ray shows the bone height, width and the position of the nerve or sinus. Gum health is checked, because implants fail in unhealthy gums.
The titanium post is placed into the jawbone under local anaesthesia as a day-care procedure. Bone grafting, if needed, is usually done at the same visit.
Over three to six months the bone fuses to the implant surface. A temporary tooth can be provided where appearance matters.
An impression is taken and a custom crown is made to match the shade and shape of your natural teeth, then fixed onto the implant.
Placement itself is a single day-care appointment. The implant then needs a healing period of roughly three to six months to fuse with the bone before the final crown is fitted. A temporary tooth can be provided in the meantime where appearance matters.
This is common when a tooth has been missing for years. Bone grafting or a sinus lift can rebuild the site, and both are performed here as part of the same treatment plan rather than being referred elsewhere.
In most cases yes, because a bridge requires cutting down the healthy teeth on either side and does not stop bone loss underneath. A bridge can still be the right choice in specific situations — the options are explained at your consultation.
